God never reveals His entire plan for our lives. If He did, we would likely be overwhelmed and immediately abort the plan out of fear. Instead, He carefully weaves His plans and our choices together for good.

Set Apart and Chosen, God uses ordinary women to do extraordinary things is the intricate look into the lives of twenty extraordinary women who have overcome great odds to walk fully in the gift God has given them. It is said that hindsight is 20/20.

We invite you into our lives in hopes that you will gain strength, clarity, courage, and boldness, to step out on faith, claiming everything that God has purposed for your life.

Tammy Wylie

Tammy Wylie, a committed Jesus-follower, is married to the finest man on the planet (for whom she waited 40 years!). While she’s written skits, Bible-studies, and devotionals for her churches, “Set Apart” marks a first try at writing for a wider audience.

An award-winning public speaker, Tammy holds a Life Coaching Certificate from the Academy of Modern Applied Psychology, a BA (Indiana Wesleyan) and a MA in Math (Ohio State) and the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) designation. A lifelong teacher, Tammy believes learning happens in the classroom or the boardroom, on the park bench or in a pew.

Seven years of classroom teaching and 28 years of Department of Defense service have provided her ample teaching, coaching, and mentoring opportunities.

Tammy lives in Bowie, Maryland with her favorite hubby. She enjoys listening to and coaching anyone God puts in her path.
